Launcher notes and privacy

• The source code is public on GitHub under GPL-3.0.
• Released exe files are compiled from the public source on the develop branch by the GitHub Actions build workflow, never from a local build.
• The only download location is the Start the game page on this site. The launcher also updates itself from here.

Only windy can publish the launcher, and windy reviews and approves every change and release to keep it safe.

• The launcher does not modify any original Dota 2 files. It only adds the files needed to run the map.
• It remembers your last choices and saves player avatars, so it opens faster next time.

• The launcher asks Steam and this site whether the map or the launcher has a new version. A new version is downloaded only after you click "Update".
• Single-player games share none of your information. Only when needed, such as playing online or sending feedback, this site receives necessary information such as your Dota2 ID, network address and game logs. It is used only for online play and improving the game, and is deleted after 90 days at most.
• Other than that, the launcher does not collect or upload your personal information.
